Rules


All rules will be strictly enforced and all members WILL adhere to each and every one. If you are found to be violating the rules of the field you will be relieved of your duties and removed from the field for the game or for the day depending on GMSOG discretion.   If you continually violate the rules of GMSOG then you will be removed from the field with no refund and you will no longer be allowed to participate in any GMSOG events for the remainder of the year.

GMSOG is proud to offer a safe, enjoyable and realistic venue so please respect the owners and your fellow players while at GMSOG Airsoft.

Yellow tape on the field marks out of bounds, Red tape on the field marks a danger such as sharp objects and/or barbed wire, etc, Green tape on the field marks a crossing point in a barbed wire fence, Blue tape on the field will mark trails.

Rules include but are not limited to:

  • 400FPS MAXIMUM with .25’s for AEG.
  • 500FPS MAXIMUM with .25’s for sniper, semi and bolt.
  • NO MESH Goggles PERIOD!  Biodegradeable BB’s will break and go through them causing major eye injury!
  • Safety glasses are allowed for 18+.  Must be ANSI rated and pass field inspection of 400fps at point blank.  THIS WILL BE CHECKED.
  • 18 and under MUST wear full seal goggles and must be ANSI and pass field inspection of 400fps at point blank.  THIS WILL BE CHECKED.
  • NO SMOKING in the Field of play.
  • NO smoke grenades.
  • NO pyrotechnics of any kind.
  • No bad attitudes.  The simulation will be stopped and you will be asked to leave the field of play for that simulation.
  • No physical contact of any kind unless designated as role players.
  • Under 10 foot engagement:  AEG’s will be on semi or a sympathy kill will be called and adhered to, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Bo’s wounded rule will be used.
  • NO shooting of any weapon while in safe area.  DO NOT test fire or sight in your weapon in the area.
  • No magazines in AEG’s while in the safe area.
  • Cheating will NOT be tolerated.
  • All hits to the operator’s body count as a kill, including web gear. Gun hits do not count.
  • No profanity is allowed in anger at any time.
  • Real knives, axes, machetes, etc. will not be allowed on the property. Leave these items at home. You will be asked to remove these items from your gear.
  • No alcohol is allowed on the premises at any time.
  • You must notify a ref if you have allergies of any kind. asthma, are diabetic, or on doctor prescribed medication.
  • No firing at or Near animals.
  • Going out of bounds is the same as being hit you will be eliminated, do not shoot over the boundary for any reason.
  • Pick up your mess.
  • Under 15 years of age not allowed at GMSOG Airsoft
  • Players not renting equipment MUST use a name brand AEG.  NO clear cybergun AEG’s.
  • NO using only gas pistols or only spring shot guns. Must use at least one AEG.
  • No going over or under barbed wire, players must cross at the designated crossing points cut in the wire and marked by green tape.
  • Players are responsible for bringing sufficient hydration supplies in to the field for the duration of the OP. We do typically sell beverages at the field as well, but you are encouraged to bring your own water as proper hydration is a safety issue.

Green team radio channel will always be:

  • UHF 464.5000

Tan teams radio channel will always be:

  • UHF 467.9000

These frequencies will be used for EVERY op at GMSOG Airsoft.
