Question: How old do I have to be to play at GMSOG?
Answer:
Due to our insurance regulations, players must be at least 15 years old. No exceptions.
Question: What type of eye protection do I need?
Answer:
Under 18 must wear approved full-seal goggles. 18 and older may wear ANSI rated safety / shooting glasses. All eye protection must pass 400fps field test.
Question: Can I use my own BB’s?
Answer:
In our limited-ammo events, we supply you with bbs as part of your admission fee. This allows for an added level of realism in the game and works very well. In normal games, we do allow non-field bb’s but they must be approved biodegradable bbs from reputable companies such as G&G, EXCELL, TDS, or MADBULL and you must present them for inspection in a sealed bag when you register.

Answer:

Question: What are the requirements for being a sniper?
Answer:
Bolt action gun: 550 FPS with .25 – 100 foot min. engagement
Electric gun: 500 FPS with .25 – 60 foot min. engagement
Electric gun: 500 FPS with .25 – 60 foot min. engagement
Gun can not have full auto capability. The first time at field, the player must take our short sniper safety course.
Question: Are Bioval Bio BBs allowed at GMSOG
Answer:
No. Bioval BB’s reportedly can cause damage to glass because of the hardness of the material from which they are constructed. Since GMSOG uses military vehicles in game, we can’t risk damage to window glass.
